CeBIT is the world’s largest trade fair showcasing digital IT and telecommunications solutions for home and work environments. The key target groups are users from industry, the wholesale/retail sector, skilled trades, banks, the services sector, government agencies, science and all users passionate about technology. CeBIT offers an international platform for comparing notes on current industry trends, networking, and product presentations.
Deutsche Messe AG has organized CeBIT in Hannover each spring since 1986. Over 4,000 companies from a 70 countries exhibited at CeBIT 2013. More than 80% of the visitors came to CeBIT for professional reasons and 20% of visitors came to CeBIT from outside of Germany.
Hannover Fairs USA, Inc. is the American subsidiary of the Deutsche Messe AG (Hannover Trade Fair Authority), which is the organizer of fairs in Hannover, Germany. Hannover Fairs USA, Inc. has exclusive responsibility for US exhibitor and visitor promotion for fairs in Hannover, Germany, and has successfully organized the USA Pavilions every year since 1986 and expects a successful 2014 event.
As with CeBIT 2013 there will be a recruitment emphasis placed on expanding the participation of new-to-market manufacturers in the USA Pavilions, and to strengthen group exhibits. Excluding European subsidiaries there were 67 U.S. companies exhibiting at CeBIT 2013.
