You are invited to attend the Salt Lake forum of the Global Cities Initiative, an export program led locally by Salt Lake County. The forum will take place at the University of Utah David Eccles School of Business on Wednesday, July 22, 2015. The forum, featuring Salt Lake County Mayor Ben McAdams, will focus on export opportunities in the Salt Lake metropolitan area, including a conversation about the region’s global competitiveness. Attendees will include a select group of leaders from the private, public, and philanthropic sectors from across the region.

The Global Cities Initiative is a joint project of the Brookings Institution and JPMorgan Chase aimed at equipping city and metropolitan leaders with the practical knowledge, policy ideas, and networks they need to become more globally connected and competitive. It is chaired by Richard M. Daley, former mayor of Chicago and senior advisor to JPMorgan Chase, and co-directed by Bruce Katz and Amy Liu of the Brookings Metropolitan Policy Program.
