On February 29, 2016, the second annual Purpose Investor Network (PIN) conference will launch a newly formed initiative in Utah impact investing called the Utah Impact Initiative (UII).
UII is being organized by PIN and UVU’s Woodbury Business School along with Hawkins (one of Utah’s largest accounting firms) and Keeler Thomas (one of Utah’s foremost wealth management and family office firms). It will harness the energy and enthusiasm that PIN has generated among its current membership as well as the more than 250 philanthropists, investors and Utah leaders who participated in PIN’s first annual conference at the Living Planet aquarium in Draper in 2015. UII will recruit other impact investing leaders in government, education, business, investing and philanthropy around the state of Utah.
