From bootstrapping to scaling a business, MWCN Business Boot Camp to help business owners succeed
Dr. Stephen D. Neeleman of HealthEquity will headline the event

SALT LAKE CITY, Mar. 21, 2016 – MountainWest Capital Network (MWCN), the largest business networking organization in Utah, will hold its third annual Business Boot Camp. The conference will provide practical business seminars for entrepreneurs and emerging companies to help overcome common business challenges and will feature Stephen D. Neeleman, MD, founder and vice chairman of HealthEquity, as its keynote speaker.

“Our goal with Business Boot Camp is to help businesses and entrepreneurs succeed,” said Todd A. Reece, president of MWCN. “Utah is currently one of the best places in the country to begin a new business or grow an established one. The business climate here is one of the strongest we have ever seen. Boot Camp is designed to provide many of the tools and insights entrepreneurs and business owners can use to be as successful as possible here in Utah.”

There will be three tracks of seminars during Boot Camp that will cover:

Managing cash flow
Bootstrapping: lessons learned
Scaling your startup
How to pitch to investors
Why risk management is important
Crowd funding basics
And many other topics

MWCN Business Boot Camp is proud to present as its keynote speaker, Stephen D. Neeleman, MD, Founder and Vice Chairman of HealthEquity, which he founded in 2002. With experience as a trauma surgeon for Intermountain Healthcare and a vision to repair the fractured relationship between patients and their physicians, Neeleman will speak on how he helps more people obtain health insurance by reintroducing consumerism to healthcare. His experiences can be applied by entrepreneurs and business owners throughout Utah. HealthEquity is dedicated to helping Americans thrive in today’s health care system by empowering health savings, while helping employers manage benefit costs.
