  • Taipei International Cycle Show – March 22-25, 2017 – Taipei, Taiwan

The trade mission is open to companies regardless of whether they plan to exhibit at one of the trade shows. In addition, companies may choose to attend only the Korea or only the Taiwan portion of the trade mission.

Costs and Participation Fee

Trade mission participants will be responsible for the cost of their own flights, lodging, and most meals and other incidental expenses. Rooms have been blocked off for trade mission participants in Korea and Taiwan at a discounted group rate (details on how to book rooms will be provided after the application deadline).

In addition to the above costs, a trade mission participation fee will be assessed to each individual who attends the trade mission. This fee will cover the cost of some group meals, some group ground transportation, room reservations for briefings, trade mission participant journals, participation at networking receptions hosted by the State of Utah,  etc.  This fee will be a flat rate for Korea, a flat rate for Taiwan and a combined rate for participants who visit both countries.

Past participation fees for trade missions have ranged from $500-$700. The fee for both countries may exceed $700 because of the two locations. The actual amount will depend on the total number of participants on the trade mission and the final costs of the various activities/services provided. We will make every effort to limit this cost as much as possible for participants. STEP grant funding may be applied to the trade mission participation fee (see below).
