According to The Wall Street Journal, Utah politicians tend to do everything right to encourage business development and job creation.
The state’s competitive advantages include a low, flat-rate income tax, corporate tax of below 5%, no death tax, a right-to-work state, a light regulatory touch, and some of the best health outcomes in the nation, and the list goes on.
“We are unapologetically pro-business and pro-jobs in Utah,” said Gov. Gary Herbert. “And we have a long tradition of being frugal on how we spend tax dollars.”
