A new webpage on the Governor’s Office of Economic Development website provides valuable information, links, and resources for Utah’s small business owners and entrepreneurs.

The GOED Business Services team compiled a list of business resources available statewide in one location intended to be a one-stop-shop for Utah companies. Whether a small business is just getting started, needs legal, accounting, or marketing help, or wants to take its products or services to a global audience, the new Business Resources webpage can help.

“The webpage provides three essential questions a potential business owner might ask to help them get started in the right direction,” said Ryan Starks, managing director of Business Services at GOED. “By asking if they’re ready to start and run a small business, if they understand the challenges of being an entrepreneur, and if they’ve researched the competition, the new webpage gives small business owners tools, resources, and information to claim an advantage in today’s competitive marketplace.”

The webpage includes 14 helpful resources on topics ranging from financing, legal structures, marketing, and a host of other information. One section of the webpage contains a link to business resources for women. That link to the Women’s Business Center of Utah (WBC) provides helpful resources, including a map to find virtual WBC locations and other business resources.

“We tailor our services to the unique opportunities, challenges, and nature of women,” said Ann Marie Wallace, Women’s Business Center of Utah state director. “Whether it’s a quick tip or handholding through a challenging process, our passionate team is available to any woman business owner or aspiring entrepreneur from Cove to St. George and every town in-between.”
