Utah Broadband Center Grants

Local Broadband Planning Grant & Local Digital Access Planning Grant

These grants provide funding to support local municipalities, counties, associations of governments, government agencies, or nonprofits with the development of local digital connectivity plans. The Local Broadband Planning Grant may provide up to $50,000 per award, and the Local Digital Access Planning Grant may provide up to $30,000 per award. Applicants may apply for one or both grants.

Grant applications opened on Thursday, Jan. 12, 2023, and close on Thursday, Feb. 9, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. MST.

Broadband Access Grant

Digital connectivity is integral to everyday life and necessary for community participation, employment, lifelong learning, and access to essential services. An important requirement of the Broadband Access Grant is for internet service providers to offer low-cost, high-speed, affordable options.
