Chairman Pai has appointed Elizabeth Bowles to serve as Chair of the Broadband Deployment (BDAC) Advisory Committee. Bowles is an advocate for the expansion of affordable broadband to undeserved rural America. Ms. Bowles is the President and Chair of the Board of Aristotle, Inc., an Arkansas-based wireless Internet service provider. It is a Digital Product Development Lab and Digital Marketing Agency in which Elizabeth guides the strategic direction and vision of the company’s divisions. She also oversees the development of the business relationships, including partnerships, investment strategies, and joint ventures.
Her past positions include the President of the Wireless Internet Service Providers Association and currently serves as the Association’s Committee Co-Chair and Arkansas State Coordinator. She is also chair of the Arkansas Broadband Council, Forum Officer for Arkansas Chapter of the Young Presidents Association and Chair and Treasure for WISP PAC, which is made up of candidates in the U.S. House and Senate who support issues of importance to small businesses that comprise the fixed wireless industry. She is also licensed to practice law in D.C. and Arkansas and was an attorney for D.C. law firm of Arnold & Porter in intellectual property and commercial litigation.
Bowles will be taking the place of Elizabeth Pierce who recently resigned from the committee.
