EnerBank USA announced today that Charlie Knadler has commenced his new role as President and CEO, effective Jan. 1. He replaces Louise Kelly, who retired at the end of 2015 and will continue to serve on the Bank’s Board of Directors. EnerBank also announced Kristin Dittmer will assume the role of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer left vacant by Knadler.

Knadler’s appointment was part of the Bank’s long-term succession plan to replace Kelly after her planned retirement. He has served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since 2010 and previously served as Senior Vice President and Chief Credit Officer. His career in financial services spans more than 20 years and includes experience in sales, credit, compliance and finance, providing a solid foundation for his new role as the Bank’s top executive.

Knadler serves on the Executive Committee of the Utah Association of Financial Services and the National Association of Industrial Bankers. He also serves on the Finance Committee of NeighborWorks Salt Lake, a non-profit organization whose mission is to revitalize neighborhoods and create affordable housing.

“It will be business as usual at EnerBank as we continue to help contractors increase their sales and establish ourselves as the best choice for contractors and partners to provide home improvement financing to their customers,” Knadler said. “I look forward to working with the management team, our employees, and clients to achieve that goal.”

“Charlie is a skilled banking executive with great leadership capabilities,” said Tom Webb, EnerBank’s Chairman of the Board as well as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of CMS Energy Corporation (NYSE), the parent company of the Bank.

Dittmer was previously Executive Vice President of Finance and Credit at EnerBank. She joined EnerBank in 2010 as Senior Vice President and Chief Credit Officer. Dittmer has nearly 15 years of experience in the financial services industry, previously serving as Chief Credit Officer of BMW Bank of North America. She began her banking career as a Financial Examiner for the Utah Department of Financial Institutions.

Dittmer currently serves on the Credit Committee of the non-profit Utah Small Business Growth Initiative and as the Chair of the Utah Association of Financial Services CFO Roundtable Committee.
