Thumbtack, today announced the results from its 2019 Small Business Friendliness Survey, ranking 49 states and 44 cities based on factors including licensing requirements, tax regulations, and labor and hiring regulations. The Thumbtack Small Business Survey is an annual survey that asks owner-operators of small businesses about the policy environment where they operate.
Small business owners gave Utah an A+ this year, ranking seventh in our survey of small business friendliness in 49 states. This year, Utah scored higher than Nevada (C+) and Idaho (A).
