U.S. DOT SBIR Fiscal Year 2025.1 Phase I  in Pre-Solicitation

The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) released its 2025 SBIR Phase I pre-solicitation. The DOT SBIR program solicits proposals from small businesses for the research and development of innovative solutions to the nation’s transportation challenges. 

During the pre-solicitation period, technical questions concerning the proposed research topics should be directed to the U.S. DOT topic authors via an online forum at (uservoice.com.)

Important Dates:

  • Pre-Solicitation: Jan. 3 – Jan. 31, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. MT
  • Tentatively Opens: February 5, 2025
  • Webinar: Check website for date and latest information
  • Tentatively Closes: March 5, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. MT
