Annual NIH, CDC and FDA Grant R&D Opportunities Released

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) released the 2021 Small Business Program omnibus grant solicitation to encourage small businesses to submit innovative ideas to bring to patients in need.

Participating agencies of the 2021 omnibus solicitation include National Institutes of Health (NIH), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Funding opportunities are included for SBIR and STTR programs, and those allowing and not allowing clinical trials.

Standard due dates apply, to include September 5, January 5, and April 5.

Each funding opportunity has unique requirements – please read carefully. Refer to Program Descriptions to learn about each Institute and Center’s mission and research topics, budget guidelines, other unique features, and staff contacts.
