(KUTV) Students throughout the Wasatch Front were treated to a special kind of career day at Salt Lake Community College. With companies from L3 communications to Merit Medical, this job fair focused on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) based careers. Juniors and seniors who have an interest in STEM fields got to pick the brains of nearly 30 different Utah companies. It was a chance for companies to appeal to a younger demographic and for students to see what future jobs could be available to them. Nearly 900 students attended the career fair. The event was organized by the Wasatch Front Consortium, which is made up of the six school districts along the Wasatch Front.
