Participate in this new approach to submitting an application with Health and Human Services SBIR/STTR grants.

Preparing an SBIR/STTR application to the NIH, CDC, or FDA? Strengthen your proposal by attending the Utah Innovation Center’s Virtual NIH SBIR Proposal Lab. 

The workshop will consist of 6 sessions over a 3-week period from November 3-19, 2021. The workshop is intended to give participants hands-on training in preparing a SBIR proposal to these agencies. Each session will be 90 minutes from noon to 1:30 PM. This is a free virtual event for Utah companies.

In this workshop:

  • Attend any of the 6 sessions covering various parts of proposal preparation according to your needs
  • Tackle difficult topics including registrations, specific aims, research strategy, project budget, and writing a strong narrative
  • Tips for experienced and beginning applicants
  • Have a chance to draft your own documents and receive feedback
