Essential oil enthusiasts will inject more than $28 million into local economy
SALT LAKE CITY – September 6, 2016 – doTERRA, the leading global essential oils company, is prepared to host the most highly attended corporate convention in Utah’s history. Thirty-thousand direct-sale distributors known as Wellness Advocates will convene from countries all around the globe for the annual four-day conference. The four-day event is expected to inject more than $28 million into the local economy.
In order to accommodate the unrivaled number of attendees, the conference will take place downtown at two adjacent locations: Vivint Smart Home Arena and Salt Palace Convention Center. The record-number convention goers will attend the educational general session in one of the two venues with presenters moving between locations. In addition to the convention activities, Wellness Advocates will be further adding to the economic impact by hosting additional meetings, parties and dinners at various locations throughout the city.
