This article is part of a series featuring business executives who choose to live and work in Utah. If you know of an executive we should interview, please contact us.

Imagine a world where the innermost workings of the human body are no longer a mystery. Imagine a dynamic, visual and artificial intelligence empowered platform that could educate, enlighten, test and illustrate, even down to the cellular and molecular level, the body’s reaction and response to nutrition, treatment and environmental change.

This is the future Zenerchi’s IAM SuperHuman Technologies is working towards.

The company’s mission is to create a human body simulation, visualization and artificial intelligence cloud-based platform. This platform will catalyze a new era of products and uses such as a comprehensive personal health monitor that provides medical institution-level readings at home, virtual reality STEM education that gives students a “Fantastic Voyage” into the human body and many more.

Zenerchi LLC is the creation of CEO and Chief Science Officer, Bryan Brandenburg. The education and business use for this technology can serve wellness, healthcare and education sectors, and create visualization capabilities beyond the current technology realm.

In a nutshell, IAM SuperHuman will enable visualization and an understanding of human physiology in ways that can potentially impact every aspect of our human existence for good.

Brandenburg is a successful serial entrepreneur with senior management experience working for high profile companies such as FanX Salt Lake Comic Convention (producing several hundred millions of dollars in economic impact for Utah), Symantec Corp and Zygote Media Group.

How did you get started in the industry?
In college, I pursued a double degree in math and physics. However, I dropped out in my senior year to write video games. It was ultimately a great move, and I had a very successful career and co-founded two of the largest independent game companies in the country.

What professional accomplishments are you most proud of?
I co-founded and was the chief marketing officer of Salt Lake Comic Con convention (now FanX). This convention is the most well-attended convention in the state and averages 100,000 attendees. It took a lot of hard work and creativity to pull that off in such a small market. We brought in top celebrities like Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Chris Evans, Patrick Stewart, Jeff Goldbloom and Buzz Aldrin.

I also became an Honorary Commander for the 419th Fighter Squadron at Hill Force Base. It was an honor to spend time with such talented, bright and humble military personnel from enlisted to officers.

What drew you to Utah?
My parents moved to Utah from France when I was four years old. Except for a brief eight-year stint in California, I’ve been fortunate to call this great state home.

What do you like most about living in Utah?
I enjoy the people and outdoor recreational opportunities. I have a season pass at Snowbird and ski as much as I can. We also live near Big and Little Cottonwood canyons and take advantage of the recreational opportunities they offer regularly.

We also take trips down south to Zions and Moab to visit the national parks.

Utah is a great place to raise a family.

What do you like most about doing business in Utah?
Utah has one of the best economies in the nation, and the talent pool is extraordinary. Utahns have an incredible work ethic, and there is an opportunity for people to live the American dream in this amazing state. The fantastic outdoor opportunities and family-friendly culture are great for attracting out of state talent.

What advice do you have for individuals considering starting a business, or relocating their business, to Utah?
It is important to look at what Utah does well and be a part of the growth momentum for industries like biotech, technology and video games. Utah is focused on long-term growth and innovation; it’s the place to be.

What is your primary challenge of doing business in Utah?
With great economic growth comes competition for top talent. It’s a challenge, but not insurmountable.

What is your business philosophy?
Timing, team, execution and idea (in that order). If you have the first four down, capital will happen. And never forget about profits. With a profitable company, you can do almost anything.

Tell me a fun fact about yourself.
I’m an amateur artist and have been published in hundreds of publications all over the world.
