The Governor’s Office of Economic Development (GOED), Utah Broadband Outreach Center and Economic Development Corporation of Utah (EDCUtah) have partnered to add critical real estate data to Utah’s economic development map available at Locate.Utah.gov. The website redesign increases data accessibility and provides a more all-encompassing resource for businesses.

Locate.Utah.gov, an award-winning website first launched in 2015, is a tool geared toward business leaders, developers, site consultants and real estate professionals. The website provides information on Utah’s broadband availability, utilities, transportation infrastructure, workforce, education, state-sponsored business resources and recreation. Visitors can generate customized reports with detailed summaries on specific locations across the state.

“We appreciate our partnership with EDCUtah in expanding the depth of data available to businesses and site selectors,” said Val Hale, executive director of GOED. “This website has proven to be a valuable resource from day one, and its information demonstrates the fact that Utah is a great place to work, live and play.”

Previously, EDCUtah’s UtahSureSites.com targeted real estate professionals with an extensive inventory of commercial real estate. The two sites have now merged under the redesigned Locate.Utah.gov, providing expanded information in one convenient location. The website’s data updates daily.

“Combining EDCUtah’s SURE Sites database of commercial real estate with the in-depth infrastructure information on locate.utah.gov establishes this website as one of the best economic development GIS planning tools in the country,” said Theresa Foxley, president and CEO of EDCUtah. “We are grateful for the unprecedented partnership between GOED and EDCUtah that has led to this success.”
