The Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity (GOEO) and partners recently presented study findings to the Economic Development and Workforce Services Interim Committee.
The study focuses on three types of housing: greenfield (new development), infill (redevelopment), and transit (proximity to Bus Rapid Transit and Rail).
“This study highlights the importance of affordable housing in Utah,” said GOEO’s executive director, Jefferson Moss. “We hope this analysis will add to the statewide conversation about housing attainability by underscoring what’s at stake and highlighting where infrastructure, resource, and regulatory constraints to housing production are most acute.”
