Proofpoint and Utah Governor Celebrate the Cybersecurity Leader’s Expanded Presence with Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony
City of Draper Declares July 14 “Proofpoint Cybersecurity Awareness Day”
SUNNYVALE, Calif., – July 15, 2015 – Proofpoint, Inc. (NASDAQ: PFPT), a leading next-generation security and compliance company, celebrated its expanded presence in Utah yesterday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by Utah Governor Gary Herbert, the City of Draper, the Governor’s Office of Economic Development, the Economic Development Corporation of Utah, and more than 150 Proofpoint employees. The City of Draper declared July 14 “Proofpoint Cybersecurity Awareness Day,” recognizing Proofpoint’s leadership in the space.

A celebration of local community, the Proofpoint ribbon-cutting ceremony highlighted how the cybersecurity leader is recruiting top tech talent in Utah and fueling the local economy with competitive wages and benefits. The company’s Draper office currently includes 150 employees in sales, engineering, support, operations, services, finance and human resources in Draper. The office can staff up to 300 employees.
