Wolverine Fuels to expand in Emery County

Today, the Utah Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity awarded Wolverine Fuels, LLC a post-performance tax reduction for its expansion in Emery County. The corporate incentive is part of the state’s Rural Economic Development Tax Increment Financing (REDTIF) program.

As part of the agreement, Wolverine Fuels projects adding more than 340 new, high-paying jobs in rural Utah during the next five years.

“Utah’s rich resources make this a great place to welcome Wolverine Fuels’ expansion,” said Ryan Starks, executive director of the Utah Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity. “The company’s commitment to safety, sustainability, and community aligns well with the state’s supportive regulatory environment and skilled workforce. We’re especially pleased to see companies like Wolverine Fuels stimulating rural Utah’s economy.”

Wolverine Fuels provides critical energy resources to both domestic and international markets. The company’s innovative practices and dedication to sustainable development ensure reliable energy production while minimizing environmental impact.
