Veterans In Tech Scholarship

Pete CodellaArticles

V-School helps women and men who have proudly served our country build new careers in the technology industry while transitioning back into civilian life.

“The women and men of our U.S. military are extremely competent and well-positioned to learn computer programming after their service,” said Mo Reeder, co-founder and chief operating officer at V School. “Our immersive, technical training is similar to the boot camp-style training that our military personnel receives on entering the service, except V School’s Bootcamp trains veterans on the skills necessary to re-enter civilian life.”

Through its Veterans In Tech Scholarship, veterans can receive a scholarship that includes:

  • A full-ride scholarship for a web development course
  • Free housing during classes
  • One-On-One veteran mentorship
  • Free laptop rental

The scholarship is available to veterans of any branch of the Armed Forces of the United States.
