The Point

Recognized as the “most strategic infill development in America,” The Point is a 600-acre mixed-use development that catalyzes regional business, technology, and innovation. This walkable, transit-oriented community is nestled between Utah’s two most populous counties and the state’s largest laborsheds. This innovative community will soon be home to approximately 15,000 residents, 30,000 jobs, and over 400 acres of investment-ready development.

The first development phase at The Point will span nearly 100 acres and be home to 3,300 multifamily units, 2.3 million square feet of office space, 365,000 square feet of retail space, 16 acres of parks, and 10 miles of trails and walking paths. Phase I will also feature a world-class downtown lifestyle entertainment core called “The Promenade,” an iconic trail connection through the site called “River to Range,” and an innovation district designed to foster groundbreaking research and technology commercialization that address complex challenges and spurs entrepreneurial activity.

As a state-visioned and private-sector-driven development, Utah has committed $165 million to build backbone infrastructure in and around Phase I. Additionally, the state invests heavily in public transit in and around the site. This includes adding a commuter rail station on the western border of the site and phasing in a new light rail line with bus rapid transit services available as the site goes vertical. These investments ensure that The Point is easily accessible to every major metropolitan in northern Utah.

The Point represents a significant opportunity to shape Utah's future by blending innovation, sustainability, and community-centric design.
