Rural Outreach Development Manager Announced

Nan Anderson, GOED Rural Outreach ManagerThe Governor’s Office of Economic Development (GOED) is pleased to announce that Nan Anderson is the new outreach development manager for the Office of Rural Development. Nan was previously the office’s rural outreach specialist.

“Nan has been a great asset to our rural development team,” said Ginger Chinn, GOED managing director of urban and rural business services. “Her experience in tourism and economic development will strengthen our marketing and statewide Business Resource Center needs.”

In this new role, Anderson will coordinate and support GOED’s Business Resource Centers and enhance outreach and marketing for the Office of Rural Development. GOED supports 16 Business Resource Centers that act as a one-stop-shop supporting new or growing businesses statewide.

Anderson has an extensive background in tourism and economic development with experience at the Utah Tourism Industry Association, Wayne County Economic Development, and the Salt Lake Convention and Visitors Bureau. She received her bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University.
