American Pacific Corporation (AMPAC), a leading manufacturer of specialty chemicals serving the aerospace and defense industries, recently announced the groundbreaking of its Capacity Expansion Project in Cedar City, Utah.
This landmark investment represents a $100 million capital commitment to strengthen Utah’s role as a hub for advanced aerospace and defense manufacturing. AMPAC’s event follows the recent approval of a Rural Economic Development Tax Increment Financing (REDTIF) incentive by the Utah Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity.

Once complete, the project will significantly increase production capabilities, ensuring that AMPAC continues to meet the growing needs of critical defense and aerospace programs.
