Join GOED’s Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) experts on August 22 for “GSA 101” – an overview of securing contracts with the federal General Services Administration (GSA).

The mission of GSA is to deliver the best value in real estate, acquisition, and technology services to government and the American people. GSA Schedules are fast, easy, and effective contracting vehicles for both customers and vendors. For GSA Schedules, GSA establishes long-term government-wide contracts with commercial companies to provide access to millions of commercial products and services at volume discount pricing.

The GSA 101 session – which takes place at Utah Valley University – focuses on helping small businesses learn the ins and outs of getting a GSA schedule and more effectively selling their products and services to the government.

GSA provides workplaces by constructing, managing, and preserving government buildings and by leasing and managing commercial real estate. GSA’s acquisition solutions offer private sector professional services, equipment, supplies, and IT to government organizations and the military.

There are significant opportunities for Utah businesses to win product and service contracts through GSA. Come learn the ins and outs.

The event takes place from 12 noon to 2:00 pm. The event is free but registration is required at: http://www.eventbrite.com/o/utah-governors-office-of-economic-development-4342305847
