U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) SBIR/STTR funding supports Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer across a broad spectrum of topic areas.
U.S. small businesses with research capabilities and technological expertise to contribute to the research and development missions of the participating agencies identified in the Omnibus Solicitation are encouraged to submit grant applications in response to the identified topics. Applicants may also consider other research areas within the mission of any awarding components and submit an SBIR/STTR application.
Participating agencies include the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
