The Department of Defense (DoD) provides almost $2 billion in non-dilutive contracts each year to small businesses across the country to conduct research and development of innovative technologies through the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs. 

Join the Utah Industry and Innovation Center for a free workshop to receive tips on accessing this non-dilutive funding resource.

Virtual Workshop – Tuesday, May 4, 2021; 9-11 a.m.

Geared for Utah small businesses/entrepreneurs who have interest in finding and applying for SBIR-STTR DoD funding opportunities. Must be a Utah company to attend.

Highlights:

  • Receive current information and hints on how to sort through the vast number of DoD SBIR-STTR funding opportunities.
  • Hear from Silicon Technologies CEO Tom Wolf, whose company has received several Phase I and Phase II DoD awards from multiple DoD components leading to $20 million in Phase III contracts.
  • Learn how to take advantage of the opportunity to contact the topic author during the pre-release period and find a customer within the DoD.
  • Discover if your research needs align with DoD priorities.
