Congratulations to MicrOmics Technologies, winner of a $400,000 Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase I contract from the National Cancer Institute.
Dr. Ryan Kelly, Chief Scientist and Owner of MicrOmics Technologies, a Utah County-based start-up, will use the non-equity position funds to develop an integrated platform for in-depth single-cell proteomics. The platform will achieve both sample processing and autosampling of single cells in nanoliter volumes to accomplish in-depth and unbiased proteome measurements.
The Utah Innovation Center consulted with Dr. Kelly on this winning proposal. Winning a SBIR Phase I contract qualifies MicrOmics Technologies to compete for an additional $1,500,000 Phase II contract upon successful completion of the Phase I project.
