The Utah Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity (Go Utah) today announced the appointment of Brigham Tomco to its Board of Directors.

The Go Utah Board consists of 15 members appointed to four-year terms by Utah’s governor with the advice and consent of the Utah Senate. The Go Utah Board helps promote and encourage the state’s economic, commercial, financial, industrial, agricultural, and civic welfare.

Tomco is the co-founder and CEO of Emmersion, a rapidly growing EdTech company located in Silicon Slopes that focuses on helping organizations be smarter with their global language strategy. He is also currently the chairman and CEO of Zylun Global and the chairman and co-founder of Clear Insights Group. Tomco is replacing Ted Wilson on the Go Utah Board.

“We welcome Brigham to the Go Utah Board and look forward to the many years of experience and knowledge he’ll bring,” said Dan Hemmert, executive director of Go Utah. “We also want to thank Ted Wilson for his years of service to the state. We won’t forget his contributions and dedication to the state’s continued economic development.”
