On Saturday, April 9, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Solitude Mountain Resort (Moonbeam Base Area), please join Ski Utah and the Utah STEM Action Center on a Passport Appreciation Day. In partnership with STEM and many other Utah businesses like KSL, University of Utah Health Care, PowerAde, Tree Utah and US Forest Service students can learn the science of snow, the importance of fitness and hydration and about the many features of the Wasatch Mountains. There will be great prizes and Smokey Bear may even make a guest appearance.
“This day is a perfect example of many great Utah organizations coming together for the betterment of our local students and families,” says VP of Marketing and Operations, Raelene Davis. “This is going to be a great day on the mountain for both learning and fun.”
Solitude will be offering complimentary skiing/riding to all 5th and 6th Grade Passport holders regardless of whether or not their coupons have been used this season. They are also offering $39.50 lift tickets for up to six family members. Bring the whole family and enjoy spring skiing in Utah
