Coronavirus Employer Information Session

Pete CodellaNews

The Utah Department of Health (UDOH) is actively monitoring the ongoing outbreak of novel (new) coronavirus that began in China and has subsequently spread to several other countries. UDOH is coordinating closely with public health partners and medical care providers throughout the state, and also with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

We recognize that Utah employers may be concerned about the current situation, especially if they conduct business in mainland China or have employees or clients who have visited areas where the illness is widespread.

To help address concerns, UDOH, Salt Lake Chamber, EDCUtah, Utah Governor’s Office of Economic Development and World Trade Center Utah are hosting an event to share information about protective measures you can take in the workplace. Dr. Angela Dunn, State Epidemiologist from UDOH, will be leading the discussion.

The presentation takes place Tuesday, March 10, 2020, from 4 to 5 p.m.
