Utah: Crossroads of the West

Pete CodellaNews

EDCUtah and World Trade Center Utah, in partnership with the Utah Governor’s Office of Economic Development, released Gov. Herbert’s 2019 economic development promotional video touting all the amenities Utah offers.

With the Greatest Snow on Earth and the state’s Mighty Five national parks, Utah is unique. The state is nationally ranked for its outstanding financial performance (ranked a top-three “Best State for Business” by Forbes for the past decade, including six number one spots). Utah has a lot to be proud of.

And the state is just getting started. Three generational projects, that will further increase the state’s international trade end investment opportunities, have begun, or are slated to begin soon.

The self-funded $3.6 billion SLC International Airport reconstruction project, next door, the 16,000-acre Utah Inland Port project will further enhance Utah’s trade opportunities and more than 20,000 acres of prime real estate will be developed at the Point of the Mountain. It’s an exciting time to call Utah home.
